Horseshoe Pitching is a traditional game that has been played for centuries and is still popular today.  Residents should take turns to ring the post with 7 lightweight horseshoes.  Any horseshoe completely surrounding the post is called a  'ringer' and is awarded 3 points.  Any horseshoe that misses the post but hits or touches the base target is awarded just 1 point.
